It's Memorial Day Weekend and all across the US folks are remembering and honoring the men and women that have died in service of our country by, among other things, grilling meats of all kinds and drinking beer. I suppose there's nothing more American than that! 

We're doing our part by also offering some great deals in our Sale Section. First off, anything by Kidrobot is at least 25% OFF! But delve deeper and you'll see quite a bit more on sale too....why not have a peak and get some goodies! Sale prices are good online only (but you can order online and use our "In Store Pickup" option if you'd like) and available through Memorial Day (Monday the 27th).

Speaking of Memorial Day, our Chicago location will be open on Memorial Day (again, Monday, May 27) but with limited hours....we'll be here 11am-4pm only. Finally, please note that both UPS and USPS have the day off, so any orders between now and Monday will ship on Tuesday, May 28th. Thanks....now fire up the grill!

Tomorrow night in the gallery we open A New Narrative: Works by the Society of Illustrators Chicago. This juried exhibition features SOIC members, students, faculty and alumni from the Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago exploring current trends in illustration. Join us in supporting our local art community, educators and illustrators!

If you can't make the opening, the exhibit will be on view in the gallery through Sunday, June 2, plus we'll be having a closing reception that evening, 5-7pm. And, as with most of our exhibits, works will be available for purchase first through our preview list (sign up here). Thanks!

It's a new month, which means a new color in the Roto-a-Matic. The Helper Dragon by Tim Biskup has never looked as tasty as it does in the May 2013 Color of the Month, Chocolate Brown! It's not particularly good to eat (not edible at all really), but it sure looks good. 0% Cacao! As always, only $6!

Be sure to grab a Lilac or Pink while you still can as well....there are some of each available at the time we're writing this, but there's a finite supply!

Finally....we're not sure if it'll be June, or maybe July, but a new mold for the Roto-a-Matic is in the works! What will it be?
