What shipping methods do you offer?

We offer a variety of services from the United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS) including the lesser expensive USPS services such as First Class and First Class International.

We take shipping orders in a timely manner and with the best possible care in packaging VERY seriously here at Rotofugi and that's not just talk. We collect toys and art too and understand just how important it is that your items show up fast and protected well along their journey.

Do you ship to my city/state/country?

We ship to just about anywhere! Chances are we have shipped to your country before, and we'd be glad to do it again!

How much will shipping to my address cost?

We can't exactly answer this one here for obvious reasons (it would be a massive chart, we bet) but we do have a shipping calculator built into our online store, so with just a little tiny bit of work on your part you can get a shipping quote for anywhere in the world! Read on for instructions!

First, put the items you want in your cart. Then click the "View Cart" button. At the bottom of that page click "Estimate Shipping" and enter your information for a plethora of shipping quotes!

Are orders insured?

Most packages are insured and guaranteed for the value of the merchandise. If your package is not delivered within 21 days for domestic customers and 45 days for international customers we will refund or replace your order.

Please note: these are not estimates of delivery times, but simply worst case scenarios and the time frames required by our insurers to file a claim. One caveat...damaged packaging is not covered by insurance. We do our very best to package items for shipping in a manner that will protect the contents...we use heavy boxes and lots of padding!

What is "Hold for Later Delivery" and how does it work?

When you check out, one of the shipping options given under the "Other" menu will be "Hold for Later Delivery." If you choose that option we will reserve the items in your order and hold onto them until you tell us to ship them, at which time we will provide you with a shipping quote.

Why would you want to do that? Well....a lot of our international customers use it to combine several small orders over a period of time into one shipment to save on shipping costs. Or maybe you're moving and don't know your new address yet, but want to make sure an item doesn't sell out before you are ready to give that new address. Two great reasons to choose "Hold for Later Delivery!"

When you are ready for your order or orders to be shipped just drop us an email at rotofugi@rotofugi.com and tell us and we'll send you a quote for shipping. Pay up the shipping and your order(s) will be on their way! Thanks!

Is USPS First Class shipping slow?

First Class (domestically) is reasonably fast. Packages can take anywhere from a couple days to a little over a week for delivery, depending on your location. Please do not choose First Class if you're in a rush!

First Class International, on the other hand, is almost always a slow service. It is reliable, but does not provide tracking nor a delivery estimate. In our experience delivery times vary greatly from country to country, but should take anywhere from 1 to 8 weeks. Please note that First Class International packages not trackable, and as such, are not insured or guaranteed for delivery.

Finally, if you choose First Class or First Class International there is a chance that the items you ordered may exceed the weight restrictions for those services. In such an event we will contact you and offer you alternate shipping options (which, unfortunately, will usually mean that you may have to make an additional payment....sorry). We're doing our best to make sure accurate weights are available for all of our items, but the weight of the packaging (and the infinite possible combination of items on our store) can make it difficult to calculate the final weight of a package.

Is USPS Express Mail an overnight service?

Domestic (within the United States) Express Mail is NOT necessarily an overnight service. In many cases it can take 2-3 days for delivery, though it can be overnight to some destinations. Please check this page on USPS.com (use 60614 for the origin zip code) for their delivery guarantees on Express Mail.

USPS Express Mail International (EMS) is usually 3-5 days.

When will my order ship?

We do our very best to ship orders as fast as we can! Most orders ship the next day after you order (often the same day if we can). The following guidelines should help you determine when your order will ship...we hit these guidelines about 99% of the time:

Order Before Ship Day
2pm Central Time Monday Monday
2pm Central Time Tuesday Tuesday
2pm Central Time Wednesday Wednesday
2pm Central Time Thursday Thursday
Order After Ship Day
2pm Central Time Friday Monday

How long does UPS Ground shipping take?

Here's a handy dandy map...remember, these are "business" days, weekends don't count!

What payment methods do you accept?

We take Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Paypal. We do NOT take checks or money orders for online sales, sorry. Click here for more info on how we secure your credit card information.

Do you take Paypal?

We do indeed!

What's your return policy?

Check it out right here!

What's a blind box? What is random assortment?

A blind box is a toy that comes in a package that makes identifying the specific figure inside impossible...you will receive a single figure in a sealed package. Random assortment means that there are lot of different choices, but you don't get to choose....we'll just choose one at random for you, though we usually allow you to request a specific design/color. Click here for a little bit more of an explanation.

How do Pre-Orders work?

Unless otherwise noted Pre-Orders require payment in full up front. If you order additional items at the same time as your Pre-Order we will hold the items and ship them when your Pre-Order is available to ship. Sometimes we do "Pre-Order Deposits." If the item is described as a deposit, the item description will contain the details and the final price of the pre-order. When the item arrives we will send you instructions for paying the balance of your order and the shipping. If you do not want items to be held with your Pre-Order, please place seperate orders (meaning order the Pre-Order item seperate from any other items).
